Ontario, CA. (April 13, 2016) – Phoenix Motorcars LLC., a manufacturer of electric vehicles for the fleet, campus and municipality market will exhibit and present at the 2016 Advanced Clean Transportation “ACT” Expo May 2-5, 2016, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Southern California. ACT showcases the latest in advanced clean vehicle technologies, and provides a forum for policy and regulation updates and sharing best practices to support the increased deployment of Alternate Clean Transportation technologies. Phoenix will be displaying their Electric Shuttle Bus, as well as their recently introduced Electric Work Truck. In addition, Phoenix will be part of an exclusive panel discussing the current climate of the Electric Bus/Truck market and its recent penetration and rapid growth.

Phoenix will display one of the recently ordered Zero Emissions Utility Shuttle (ZEUS) buses from WallyPark, a subsidiary of the L&R Group of Companies and leaders in the airport shuttle bus industry. The 14-16 passenger fully electric buses will be used to service airport parking at Los Angeles International, San Diego International, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, three of the nation’s busiest hubs. All of buses will have fast-charging capability, which allows full charging to take place in less than three hours. WallyPark/Joe’s offer premier airport parking facilities in major metropolitan areas across the nation (including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Diego and Seattle). Joe’s Auto Parks, growing rapidly throughout the USA, is one of Los Angeles’ largest parking operations with more than 85 downtown locations.

The other vehicle on display will be 1 of its Zero Emissions Work Trucks. The fully electric Work Truck is the newest addition to Phoenix’s vehicle offering, with one being deployed by the City of Irvine, California. The EV Phoenix Work Truck is part of Irvine’s fleet of 550 vehicles. The City of Irvine’s Fleet Services division provides comprehensive vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance and other vehicle services exclusively for the City’s motorized vehicle fleet and heavy equipment. Also, Fleet Services performs routine maintenance on miscellaneous equipment and routinely fabricates vehicle modifications at the request of City departments.
