Q: What Is a Zero-Emission Vehicle?
A: A zero-emission vehicle has:
- No tailpipe emissions
- No evaporative emissions
- No emissions from gasoline refining or sales
- No onboard emission-control systems that can deteriorate over time
Q: Where are the vehicles manufactured?
A: Initial vehicle assembly will take place in Ontario, California.
Q: What is the driving range of these vehicles?
A: Phoenix has developed a battery agnostic drive-train, providing two unique battery solutions to achieve a 70 mile and 100 mile range option.
Q: How do you charge the vehicle?
A: Each Phoenix comes with an integrated on-board 7kW charger that plugs into a US Standard SAE J1772 EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) Vehicle Charger. With 220V power your vehicle can be fully charged in 5 to 6 hours. You also have a separate fast charge connector to utilize faster direct DC charging.
Q: Does the vehicle have air-conditioning?
A: Air Conditioning is a standard feature for the Phoenix SUT. Each vehicle also comes standard with heating, power windows and locks.
Q: How much power does the motor have?
A: Electric vehicles have a unique ability to utilize full torque from zero, unlike traditional internal combustion engines. Our motors offer 413 foot pounds of torque.
Q: Are both standard and rapid chargers included?
A: An onboard charger is included which will allow for 5 to 6 hour charging from a EVSE charger from 220V power source (Level 2 charging). An off board charger connector is available to take advantage of rapid charging, but not the off board charger itself (Level 3 charging).
Q: What is the warranty on the vehicle?
A: The Phoenix SUT has a standard 3 year /36,000 mile warranty. Battery and drive-train warranty will comply with EPA and CARB requirements.
Q: What is the towing capacity?
A: Phoenix vehicles are not ideal for towing, as it drastically decreases the range and limits performance.
Q: Are Phoenix vehicles front or rear wheel drive?
A: Phoenix vehicles now come in a sophisticated All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration.
